Special Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic with Young Wind Players

On August 19, 2012, young and talented wind instrumentalists from Salzburg and Carinthia present a concert program consisting of compositions by Michael Haydn, Pietro Mascagni and Josef Strauss, among others, together with members of the Vienna Philharmonic under the direction of Prof. Karl Jeitler. The concert in the Felsenreitschule in which 70 young wind instrumentalists will take part is a joint project of the Salzburg Festival, the Vienna Philharmonic and the Salzburg Blasmusikverband, and is supported by the Provinces of Salzburg and Carinthia.
