On February 18, 2009, one day before the beginning of the world-tour with Zubin Mehta, with its first stop in London, a long-time companion of our orchestra died in the English capital. Christopher Raeburn, born on July 31, 1928, and who was the legendary recording engineer for DECCA, succumbed to a serious illness.
