Music Camps with passwort:klassik and the Salzburg Festival

Once again this year more than 80 children and youth from ten different countries will spend a part of their summer at the Arenberg Palace in Salzburg. These are not beginners, but rather experienced young opera fans who are familiar with music, scenes and roles of the great operas and themselves work on their very own performances. They are led by a team of teachers and artists and also receive musical assistance from members of the Vienna Philharmonic. Der Fall McBeth represents the young peoples' reflections on the opera Macbeth by Giuseppe Verdi, whereas  E.M. forever is a commentary on the opera The Makropulos Affair by Leoš Janáček.
