Performers

Angela Brower

The aspiring mezzo-soprano Angela Brower studied at Arizona State University and Indiana University. She was invited to join the Opera Studio at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, where she later became a member of the Ensemble from 2010-16. In 2009, she received the prestigious Munich Festival Prize. In 2016, she debuted at the Salzburg Festival and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

Rolando Villazón

Through his uniquely compelling performances with leading opera houses and orchestras around the world, Rolando Villazón has firmly established himself as one of the music world’s most critically acclaimed and beloved stars and as one of the leading tenors of our day.

Adam Plachetka

Adam Plachetka was educated at the conservatory in his home town of Prague and debuted at the Prague National Theatre in 2005. In 2010, he became a member of the ensemble of the Vienna State Opera. Adam appears regularly at the Metropolitan Opera New York and at the Salzburg Festival. His other engagements include appearances at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the Teatro alla Scala Milan, among others.
