Samuel Palmetshofer
Biography
Samuel Palmetshofer was born in Amstetten, Austria, in 2002 and received his first instruction on tenor horn in 2012 at the music school in Pabneukirchen. Four years later he changed to trombone and was accepted into the Academy for Gifted Students (ABF) at the Anton Bruckner Private University under Prof. Josef Kürner. In October 2019, he began his bachelor in Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy in the class of Prof. Kürner.
Samuel Palmetshofer collected his first orchestral experience in youth orchestras such as the Wiener Jeunesse Orchester, as well as the Upper Austrian Mozart Ensemble, the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, and the Altomonte Orchestra in St. Florian. From November 2022 to August 2023, he was a member of the orchestra academy of the Düsseldorf Symphony/Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
