Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres

Former Vienna Philharmonic chairman Prof. Dr. Clemens Hellsberg was awarded the "Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres" on July 1, 2015 in the French Embassy in Vienna. The presentation was made by Ambassador Pascal Teixeira da Silva – an enthusiastic cellist –  who also contributed to the musical framework for the event by performing, along with the Hellsberg family (Clemens and his sons Dominik and Benedikt), the Sonata in G Major op. 1/9 by Arcangelo Corelli.
