First Collaboration with Marc Minkowski

The opening concert of this year's Vienna Festival Weeks brought about for the first time the collaboration of our orchestra with Marc Minkowski, the Artistic Director of the Mozart Week in Salzburg. On May 11/12 in the Vienna Konzerthaus, he conducted Joseph Haydn's Symphony in B-flat major, Hob. 1:85 ("La Reine"), the ballet music to "Don Juan" by Christoph Willibald Gluck and Ludwig Beethoven's "Eroica".
