New Year's Concert 2020 with Andris Nelsons

The 2020 Vienna Philharmonic New Year's Concert will be conducted by Andris Nelsons. Andris Nelsons, Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Gewandhauskapellmeister of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, has been musically associated with the Vienna Philharmonic since 2010. He is a regular guest at the subscription concerts in the Vienna Musikverein and at the Salzburg Festival, as well as on tours in Europe, Asia and the USA.

2020 marks Nelsons' first time to conduct the Vienna Philharmonic New Year's Concert. In the same year, a Beethoven Cycle with Nelsons and the Vienna Philharmonic will be released on CD and performed in concerts in Vienna and abroad.
