Changes in the 10th Subscription Concerts

In the wake of a necessary medical procedure, Mariss Jansons has been advised by his doctors to make a pause in his conducting schedule for the purpose of convalescence. He will thus be unable to conduct the Vienna Festival concert on June 19, as well as the Philharmonic subscription concerts on June 21 and 22, 2014. We are grateful to Mikko Franck for his willingness to take over the direction of these concerts. The revised program consists of:

Richard Strauss: Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks, op. 28
Richard Strauss: Dance of the Seven Veils from the opera "Salome", op. 54
