During the traditional children's concert presented by CONCORDIA Social Projects on Monday, October 13, 2014, Andreas Großbauer, Chairman of the Vienna Philharmonic, presented instruments donated by the orchestra to children from Romania.

Ball donations from this year's Vienna Philharmonic Ball, which amounted to a total sum of €15,000, provided for the purchase of two ¾-size violins as well as an acoustic bass with amplifier. The remainder of the amount has been earmarked for music education in Romania and in the Republic of Moldau.

During the children's concert, one could discern the joy and enthusiasm of the children and young people who showed off their talent by performing in diverse ensembles such as a big band and a theater group. Mrs. Ulla Konrad, Chairman of CONCORDIA Social Projects, was the master of ceremonies for this colorful evening and Christian Kolonovits presented his work with these young people by conducting and accompanying them on keyboard.
