Vienna Festival Concert with Tugan Sokhiev

On June 9, 2013, another Vienna Festival Concert was given in the Vienna Konzerthaus with the program for the 6th Philharmonic Soirée. Turgan Sokhiev conducted the Double Concerto for Violin and Violoncello in A minor, op. 102, by Johannes Brahms featuring the Philharmonic soloists Volkhard Steude and Péter Somodari (principal cellist of the Vienna State Opera Orchestra) as well as the Symphonie fantastique, op. 14, by Hector Berlioz.
