Valentin Lemberg

Valentin Lemberg, born in 2000 in Vienna, Austria, received his first musical training at the age of six years on the violin. At 14, he changed to the clarinet and received instruction at the Music School of the City of Vienna from Reinhard Posch and Theresa Dinkhauser, as well as from Kurt Franz Schmid at the Josef Matthias Hauer Music School in WienerNeustadt beginning in 2017. He has studied since 2018 at the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts, first with Stefan Neubauer and currently with Christoph Moser. He has also received additional instruction, generally in the form of master classes from Andrea Götsch, Andreas Wieser, Gregor Hinterreiter, Norbert Täubl, Johann Hindler, Alexander Neubauer, Sharon Kam and Wenzel Fuchs.

Valentin Lemberg has also collected professional orchestral experience early on, including as a substitute with the Stage Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera, the Lower Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra, the Vienna Hofmusikkapelle and the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. He was a participant at the Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy of the Vienna Philharmonic in 2022 and was also a member of the Academy of the Lower Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra from October 2023 until October 2024.
