The first Vienna Philharmonic Young People's Concert of the season was a major success. Well prepared by means of a teacher's workshop and extensive teaching materials, 1200 young people from Styria, Lower Austria and Vienna arrived highly motivated at the Vienna Konzerthaus to hear a moderated performance of Maurice Ravel's spectacular composition "Daphnis and Chloé".
