Benefit Concert for Hospiz Rennweg

On October 21, 2011, in the Mozartsaal of the Vienna Konzerthaus, a Benefit Concert, which was first organized in 2001 by Professor Peter Schmidl under the patronage of the Vienna Philharmonic to aid the Hospiz Rennweg, took place. The program consisted of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's String Quartet in G major, KV 387 ("Spring Quartet"), the Clarinet Quintet in A major, KV 581 (in the reconstructed version for bass clarinet), Franz Schubert's "Quartet Movement in C-minor, D 703, Josef Lanner's "Styrian Dances", op. 165, as well as the "Kettenbrücke-Walzer", op. 4 by Johann Strauss, Sr. The performers were the Steude Quartett and Peter Schmidl.
