Vienna Festival Concerts with Sakari Oramo

The Festival Week Concerts were continued on May 25/26, 2013, with Sakari Oramo, Principal Conductor of the BBC Orchestra London. The program consisted of "Variations symphoniques" by Witold Lutoslawski; the Violin Concerto in D minor, op. 47, by Jean Sibelius, for which we worked for the first time with the American violinst Hillary Hahn; as well as the 8th Symphony of the Danish composer Per Nørgård, which was  also recorded for CD.
