Access Regulation for Concert Attendance in January 2022

Access Regulation for the 4th subscription concert series:

The Booster+ regulation applies to events with 1,000 to 2,000 people.

Proof of 3 vaccinations PLUS a PCR test, which must not be older than 48 hours, is thus required for attendance at the upcoming subscription concerts. Those who have recovered need a certificate of 2 vaccinations PLUS PCR test.

Wearing an FFP2 mask is compulsory during the entire stay at the Musikverein, including during the concert.

Exception regulations of the Musikverein

Concert visitors whose second vaccination (except Johnson & Johnson) was given less than 120 days ago may also attend events subject to the Booster+ regulation with a valid PCR test.

In case of a first vaccination with Johnson & Johnson and a second vaccination with the vaccine from BioNTech/Pfizer or Moderna, the second vaccination is considered a booster vaccination.

Concert visitors who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons require an appropriate medical certificate and a negative PCR test, the sample of which must have been taken no longer than 48 hours before the end of the event.

In any case, the validity period of a PCR test in Vienna is 48 hours.

If the PCR test result is not received in time, a negative antigen test that is not older than 24 hours at the end of the event entitles the person to attend the event.

Please inform yourself in advance about the corona regulations at the Musikverein for the Society Concert with Valery Gergiev (14.01.) and the Society Concerts with Rudolf Buchbinder (17.01.; 18.01.), as well as the concert with Valery Gergiev at the Konzerthaus Wien.
