Sebastian Glaser was born in Linz, Austria, in 2001 and received his first trumpet instruction at the age of seven from Manfred Jäger at the music school in Hartkirchen. He was a member of the program for talented young people under Prof. Florian Klingler at the Anton Bruckner Private University from 2017-2021 and has studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna under Prof. Martin Mühlfellner since 2021.

He has also received instruction at various master classes from Hans Gansch, Frits Damrow, Peter Fliecher, Helmut Fuchs, Matthias Höfs and Johann Plank.

Sebastian Glaser garnered his earliest orchestral experience with various youth orchestras, such as the Upper Austrian Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra. Since 2022 he has been a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. He has also substituted regularly with such orchestras as the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, the Orchestra of the Vienna Volksoper, the Vienna Symphony, the Vienna Concert Association and the Stage Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera.

Sebastian has also received several awards from the national competition prima la musica, for which he also received an invitation to the IOIA - the International Orchestral Institute of the Vienna Philharmonic - as a special prize in 2019. He received the Dr. Josef Ratzenböck Scholarship in 2017 and a scholarship from the Linz-Donau Rotary Club in 2020.
