Thanks to our dear friends at Suntory Hall and the support of both the Japanese and Austrian governments, the Vienna Philharmonic is able to travel to Japan and give concerts from November 5 to 14. The deep and long-lasting relationship between our two countries has contributed to making this tour possible.

“As one of the world's leading orchestras we are aware of the great responsibility we carry when travelling in times such as these. The orchestra is prepared to submit to the most stringent security and health measures and undergo added burdens in order to make this tour possible, including travelling in quarantine. It is our desire to harness the power and beauty of music in order to offer music lovers around the world, including our beloved Japanese audience, a source of hope and light," says Daniel Froschauer, Chairman of the Vienna Philharmonic.
