Biography

Italian born Ulisse Mazzon began his advanced study of the violin in 2014 with Prof. Regina Brandstätter at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (Campus Oberschützen) and with Maestro Salvatore Accardo at the High Specialization Course for Chamber Music and Solo Performance at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona.

Ulisse Mazzon is active in chamber music, having appeared with Bruno Giuranna, Antonio Meneses uand others. He was also a participant at the Vienna Philharmonic Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy at the Salzburg Festival 2018 and 2019. He appeared as soloist and concertmaster at the International Orchestra Institute Attergau, under the direction of Rainer Honeck.

Ulisse Mazzon is the winner of numerous national and international competitions and was invited to participate in the 19th International Fritz Kreisler Violin Competition in Vienna in September 2018. He has made several recordings and is internationally active as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician.
