The designated wheelchair places in the Musikverein in the balcony boxes and the ground floor boxes, 2nd row are approximately 90 x 140 cm. The elevator in the Musikverein has the approximate measurements 90 x 150 cm. The minimum officially prescribed measurements for a wheelchair in Austria are 80 x 120 cm.
On the death of Alfred Brendel
We were able to fulfill his wish to play his last public concert with us in 2008 at the Musikverein. He performed W. A. Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 9 in E-flat major ("Jenamy Concerto").
